Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming bout.
Former two time world title holder Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a KO victory in round four or five and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really proceeding.
